Universal Operations Specialist II
Overview
Supervisor of teller operations at Columbia Bank in Pompton Lakes NJ. Own teller portion of Universal Banking training and scale daily teller proof sheet consolidations while maintaining security for the teller area and vault. Drive branch-wide performance goals and ensure compliance with all banking protocols.
What You'll Do11
- 1Supervise teller operations including direct responsibility of teller portion of Universal Banking training
- 2Schedule hours and work assignments for all teller personnel
- 3Participate in performance appraisals and ensure daily consolidation of teller sheets
- 4Research and resolve issues pertaining to the teller area and vault security
- 5Maintain overall branch security by approving transactions and processing returns
- 6Handle uncollected items and overdrafts within approved limits
- 7Process business account transactions and night drops
- 8Assist in new accounts area and adjust accounts and certificates
- 9Perform teller activities as required for Universal Banker position
- 10Help introduce customers to other bank team members
- 11Work with manager to increase customer advocacy through feedback and coaching
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2High school diploma or GED
- 3Strong knowledge of banking products
- 4Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving
- 5Precise figure aptitude and strong attention to detail
- 6Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 7Strong PC skills and demonstrated knowledge of MS Office
- 8Ability to ask questions to learn about customer financial needs
- 9Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- 102-4 years of teller platform and supervisory experience
- 11Ability to work weekends and lift up to 20 lbs
