Overview
You own the loading dock at our Hayward fulfillment hub, ensuring every meal reaches a student. In this high-volume warehouse, you pivot between kitchen support and truck loading, scanning packages with RF scanners to hit 100% accuracy. What You'll Do8
- 1Load delivery trucks with ovens and cold cambros, following load order for efficient transport.
- 2Operate lift gates to secure equipment and packages safely.
- 3Scan packages using scanning equipment to maintain 100% fulfillment accuracy.
- 4Assist in the kitchen with food preparation and packaging when needed.
- 5Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in temperature-controlled zones, from walk-in freezers to hot ovens.
- 6Communicate with team members and leads to coordinate loading priorities.
- 7Troubleshoot scanning device issues to minimize downtime.
- 8Follow food safety protocols and COVID-19 guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
Requirements7
- 1No prior experience required; CA Food Handlers Certificate is a plus.
- 2High School equivalent education.
- 3Able to read and write in English.
- 4Lift packages up to 50 lbs and maneuver oven racks and HFBs up to 250 lbs safely.
- 5Comfortable with mobility including walking, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.
- 6Work in warehouse settings with moderate noise and variable temperatures.
- 7Vision abilities include close and distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
