As a Tree Climber at Joshua Tree Experts, you will own pruning, removals, and maintenance of large trees across Charlotte's residential and commercial properties. What You'll Do8
- 1Climb tall trees using DDRT and SRT systems to perform pruning and removals with precision.
- 2Execute tree removals, including sectioning and rigging, to protect property and people.
- 3Prune trees to improve health, structure, and appearance, following industry standards.
- 4Operate chainsaws, ropes, and rigging gear safely, conducting pre-climb and pre-work inspections.
- 5Support ground crew with debris clearing, chipping, and equipment maintenance.
- 6Assess tree health and risk, communicating with team leads on job-site conditions.
- 7Document work daily, including safety checklists and completed task logs.
- 8Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient and safe job completion within timeframes.
Requirements8
- 13+ years of professional tree climbing experience.
- 2Proficiency in DDRT and SRT climbing techniques.
- 3Hands-on experience with tree removals and pruning.
- 4Valid driver's license.
- 5Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights.
- 6Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- 7Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- 8Certification in arboriculture (e.g., ISA Certified Arborist) is a plus.
