What You'll Do8
- 1Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- 2Implement therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to improve mobility and function.
- 3Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments based on response and goals.
- 4Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate patient care.
- 5Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes accurately.
- 6Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
- 7Adhere to hospital policies and professional standards of practice.
- 8Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements6
- 12+ years of outpatient physical therapy experience or 6 months of acute care or skilled nursing for new grads.
- 2Current PT license in California or ability to obtain before start.
- 3BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- 4Graduate from an accredited DPT program.
- 5Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- 6Ability to work 5x8hr dayshift schedule.
