Travel Pharmacist - Clinical & Inpatient/Outpatient Care
Overview
Own medication management across inpatient and outpatient clinics at a regional health center, serving neonatal, pediatric, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric populations. Work a 7 on/7 off rotation at a JCAHO-accredited facility. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver culturally competent care to Native American communities. Advance through pharmacist tier levels to lead specialized clinics and clinical services. This role offers a 13-week assignment in Garland, TX, with remote travel to Arizona.
What You'll Do5
- 1Deliver direct patient care and manage medications across multiple clinics and hospital settings.
- 2Work rotational shifts covering days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- 3Advance through pharmacist tier levels to lead specialized clinics and clinical services as an Advanced Practice Pharmacist.
- 4Oversee pharmacy policies, procedures, and programs aligned with organizational mission.
- 5Manage clinic operations and supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, assistants, and billers.
Requirements5
- 1Hold a Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited program.
- 2Maintain a current, unrestricted pharmacist license from any U.S. State or Territory.
- 3Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- 4Have 2+ years as a Registered Pharmacist, with 1+ year in clinical pharmacy practice.
- 5Commit to gaining experience in Indian Health Services (IHS) settings.
