Overview
You will craft unforgettable domestic and international travel experiences, owning the sales process from first inquiry to booked itinerary. Working with Amadeus or Sabre, you will manage bookings, payments, and documentation while complying with ARC, DOT, and AAA policies. You will join a dynamic sales team known for world-class service and will leverage AAA's established travel strategy to hit your sales targets. The role offers a clear path to Travel Agent and Senior Travel Agent, with paid training, IATAN cards, and educational trips to keep you ahead in the industry.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build and maintain long-term client relationships, turning first-time travelers into loyal AAA members.
- 2Design tailored cruises, land tours, flights, and hotel packages using Amadeus and Sabre.
- 3Process bookings and payments while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to ARC and DOT regulations.
- 4Educate clients on AAA benefits, including exclusive perks and the AAA-branded credit card.
- 5Resolve client concerns efficiently under management guidance, maintaining high satisfaction.
- 6Drive sales by promoting AAA travel products and meeting monthly incentive goals.
- 7Participate in training sessions, promotional events, and familiarization trips to expand product knowledge.
Requirements7
- 11+ year of retail experience, with at least 1 year as a retail or leisure travel agent preferred.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or travel school graduate preferred.
- 3Proficiency with Amadeus or Sabre and web-based travel applications.
- 4Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- 5Working knowledge of geography and travel destinations.
- 6CTA certification required within 2 years of hire, with company-sponsored training and paid time.
- 7Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screenings, including criminal, drug, and vendor checks.
Salary Insight
