Trailer Mechanic - Afternoon Shift

What You'll Do11
- 1Perform routine maintenance on trailing equipment following manufacturer and company schedules
- 2Repair or rebuild equipment systems including brake and hand tool tasks
- 3Conduct safety inspections and maintain proper documentation
- 4Operate specialized tooling and vehicles safely
- 5Maintain clean organized work areas and ensure safety compliance
- 6Track activity using job times and parts on repair orders
- 7Drive trailers throughout property in all weather conditions
- 8Interact with operations and shop management
- 9Lift objects up to 75 lbs and navigate uneven surfaces
- 10Walk long periods standing on loading docks that are not climate controlled
- 11Follow OSHA EPA and FMCSA regulations
Requirements10
- 11 year heavy-duty maintenance experience
- 2Valid driver's license
- 3Ability to perform safety inspections
- 4Basic computer skills
- 5High school diploma or equivalent
- 6ASE certification preferred
- 7Welding skills including Oxy/Acetylene MIG and ARC
- 8Mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
- 9Experience with diesel technology
- 10Time in entry level technician role
