Traffic Signal Technician

What You'll Do9
- 1Perform maintenance repairs on existing traffic systems to ensure proper functioning and identify hazards.
- 2Troubleshoot and repair traffic and street light systems using NEC standards.
- 3Conduct regular tests and quality checks for compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- 4Monitor and control utility equipment for efficient and reliable operation.
- 5Assist in planning and implementing system upgrades, including IMSA-based improvements.
- 6Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- 7Collaborate with team members to coordinate schedules and prioritize workload.
- 8Respond to emergency situations and resolve issues promptly.
- 9Train and guide less experienced technicians.
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training a plus.
- 2NEC Certification mandatory.
- 3IMSA Level II certification preferred.
- 4Class A license holder preferred.
- 5Crane Operator certified preferred.
- 6Proven experience as a Traffic Technician or similar role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial setting.
- 7Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards.
- 8Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- 9Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- 10Proficient with hand and power tools.
