City Rise Traffic seeks a Traffic Control Lead based in Westminster to oversee high‑volume traffic control operations across California. The ideal candidate will supervise crews, develop traffic plans, and ensure safety compliance while collaborating with field operations. What You'll Do11
- 1Supervise job site and manage daily traffic control activities
- 2Develop and implement traffic plans and secure necessary permits
- 3Conduct daily Job Hazard Analyses and hold tailgate meetings
- 4Provide direct client contact and maintain consistent work zone management
- 5Lead teams in executing lane closures, detours, and road closures
- 6Train and develop employees onsite while enforcing safety protocols
- 7Perform site inspections and coordinate with safety and training departments
- 8Drive company trucks and operate towing equipment
- 9Maintain equipment and ensure it remains in working order
- 10Evaluate employee performance and address safety concerns
- 11Follow MUTCD guidelines and comply with Caltrans standards
Requirements11
- 1Current LIUNA membership with journey person classification and applicable CBA
- 2Proven knowledge of ATSSA flagging and traffic control technician certifications
- 3Valid OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications
- 4Experience with TMA certification and CPC Card
- 5High school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years traffic control lead experience preferred
- 6Valid CA driver’s license with clean record and insurable
- 7Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency
- 8Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand/kneel, and work outdoors in varying conditions
- 9Strong communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills
- 10Ability to read and interpret traffic control plans and permits
- 11Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
