Tow Truck Driver, Missouri City TX
Overview
You will own the safe and reliable transport of vehicles across Missouri City and surrounding areas for Fatboy Towing. With a starting pay of $12-$16 per hour and full-time hours, you'll operate Flat Bed and Pick-Up Trucks on a variety of calls. The team values customer service and offers on-the-job training for the right candidate. This role stands out because we support you in earning your TDLR Incident Management License if you don't already have it.
What You'll Do9
- 1Drive Flat Bed and Pick-Up Tow Trucks to transport vehicles to designated locations.
- 2Perform daily inspections of the tow truck, checking air pressure, fluid levels, braking system, and lights.
- 3Take pick-up and delivery instructions from the Dispatcher and follow routes using maps or GPS.
- 4Respond to accident and breakdown calls to assist motorists safely.
- 5Secure vehicles properly for transport and ensure passenger safety.
- 6Present bills and collect payments for services rendered.
- 7Follow traffic laws and company procedures at all times.
- 8Maintain a clean driving record and uphold a professional, customer-focused demeanor.
- 9Work extended hours and varied shifts, including Day Shift as preferred.
Requirements8
- 1Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- 2Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
- 3Have a safe place to park the tow truck when not in use.
- 4Strong customer service and communication skills.
- 5Willingness to obtain TDLR Incident Management License (we assist with application).
- 6Experience operating tow trucks or similar vehicles preferred, but willing to train.
- 7Ability to work in various weather conditions and for long periods.
- 8Must be reliable and punctual for full-time work.
