Overview

Design and fabricate complex production tooling for aircraft manufacturing. Maintain safety and quality compliance through precision measurements and tool management. Support production with tool installation and removal.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Receive assignments and determine sequencing based on schedule and tool availability
  • 2Review drawings and specifications using MAPS/REDARS/Catia/Enovia/Web
  • 3Plan and perform layout calculations using shop math and trigonometry
  • 4Select and verify required tools and materials from tool room inventory
  • 5Perform standing tool orders and minor tool repairs
  • 6Fabricate laminated fiberglass tools and execute epoxy pours
  • 7Drill and tap components to precise specifications
  • 8Install and remove tooling parts from airplane sections
  • 9Use metrology systems to conduct precision measurements
  • 10Build wooden containers and temporary tooling fixtures
  • 11Check completed work against work instructions and submit QA documentation

Requirements5

  • 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 23-5 seasons experience in tool manufacturing
  • 3Knowledge of AWS Certified solutions
  • 4Familiarity with Catia and Enovia platforms
  • 5Understanding of ISO quality standards
