Tire & Lube Technician, Automotive Service
Overview
You will own tire and wheel service for Big O Tires, handling 10-15 cars per shift with 15-minute turnarounds. Our Phoenix shop runs a high-volume crew backed by Hunter alignment racks and Bosch diagnostic tools. You'll join a 12-person team with paid training and a path to full technician earning up to $100K. Weekly bonuses and health benefits start day one.
What You'll Do7
- 1Remove and mount tires on alloy and steel wheels using Hunter equipment.
- 2Perform oil changes and fluid checks on gas and diesel engines.
- 3Inspect brake pads, rotors, and suspension components for wear.
- 4Rotate tires and balance wheels to OEM specifications.
- 5Patch and plug tire punctures using vulcanizing compounds.
- 6Document service findings in ShopKey and advise on needed repairs.
- 7Maintain a clean bay and manage tire inventory with RF scanning.
Requirements8
- 11+ year of tire and lube service experience.
- 2Valid driver's license with clean MVR.
- 3Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8-hour shifts.
- 4ASE certification in T4 or T5 preferred.
- 5High school diploma or GED.
- 6Own tools for basic lug nut and jack operations.
- 7Willingness to work Saturday shifts.
- 8Steel-toe boots and ANSI rated safety glasses.
