Overview
EveryMind seeks a Therapeutic Mentor to join the Bridge to Wellness team in School-Based Services. This role supports 2-4 school communications across mid-Montgomery County. The mentor provides strength-based support to children addressing social-emotional needs while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
What You'll Do11
- 1Recruit and retain eligible youth and families for mentoring activities
- 2Plan and facilitate in-person or virtual activities including afternoons and evenings
- 3Conduct regular assessments and develop intensive care coordination plans
- 4Implement evidence-based practices to support students with diverse needs
- 5Coordinate community resources and complete aftercare planning
- 6Participate in conflict resolution and communication skills training
- 7Identify and refer families to appropriate behavioral health resources
- 8Analyze program outcomes and adjust services accordingly
- 9Maintain compliance with contracts and data productivity requirements
- 10Supervise interns and volunteers
- 11Provide customer service and collaborate with stakeholders
Requirements10
- 1Minimum 1 year of adolescent mentoring experience
- 2Bachelor's degree in social work psychology or related field
- 3Strong communication and organizational skills
- 4Ability to work flexibly in schools and community settings
- 5Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and video conferencing tools
- 6Experience with child welfare and behavioral health programs
- 7Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- 8Ability to lift 35 pounds and maintain physical stamina
- 9Background check clearance and drug screening
- 10Trauma-informed approach to working with at-risk youth
