Territory Retail Lead - Philadelphia PA
Overview
You will own the supervision and development of assigned associates to drive sales and meet retailer and client expectations in the Philadelphia PA territory. Reporting directly to the Market Sales Manager, you will lead projects, maintain store standards, and communicate daily with store personnel on client brand features. You will train and mentor Sales Merchandisers and seasonal associates, using handheld devices to track and report. This role stands out for its mix of leadership, client education, and hands-on merchandising in a dynamic retail environment.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build rapport through daily communication with store associates and management to foster collaboration and trust.
- 2Train, supervise, and develop the skills of Sales Merchandisers, fellow Territory Sales Leads, and seasonal associates, ensuring high performance.
- 3Educate customers and store personnel on features and benefits of client brands and product lines to drive sales.
- 4Maintain accuracy and high quality of work in all store areas to meet or exceed client expectations.
- 5Master and consistently use all functions of the handheld device for reporting and communication.
- 6Communicate successes and potential barriers to the Market Sales Manager weekly.
- 7Uphold company, client, and retailer confidentiality in all interactions.
- 8Manage project completion and product stocking to keep shelves full and displays organized.
Requirements9
- 11+ year of customer service or sales experience.
- 2Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs frequently, and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- 3Comfort with electronic and technical products, including handheld devices.
- 4Independent and self-motivated with proven ability to work alone.
- 5Flexible schedule including nights, overnights, and weekends.
- 6High School diploma or equivalency certification required.
- 7Valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance for travel to multiple locations.
- 8Basic computer and email proficiency, plus internet access.
- 9Conversational proficiency in English (spoken and written).
