What You'll Do11
- 1Register and check in patients at the front desk
- 2Verify and update patient information in Epic
- 3Perform standard Medical Assistant back-office duties
- 4Room patients and prepare them for provider visits
- 5Obtain and document vital signs and relevant patient information
- 6Administer vaccines and injections as directed
- 7Accurately document patient care and clinical information in Epic
- 8Prepare exam rooms and maintain appropriate medical supplies
- 9Assist providers with patient flow and clinical needs
- 10Support Medicare annual exams and seasonal vaccine workflows
- 11Follow infection-control patient safety and confidentiality requirements
Requirements7
- 1Previous professional experience as a Medical Assistant
- 2Prior Epic EHR experience required
- 3Demonstrated experience administering vaccines
- 4Ability to perform both front-office and back-office duties
- 5Strong patient service and communication skills
- 6Current Medical Assistant certification if required
- 7Current BLS CPR certification preferred
