What You'll Do8

  • 1Set up and calibrate processing equipment for pilot-scale chemical tests.
  • 2Operate and monitor equipment during runs, adjusting parameters as needed.
  • 3Load materials, collect samples, and document test results with accuracy.
  • 4Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform on-the-spot process adjustments.
  • 5Connect basic plumbing and utilities to support test configurations.
  • 6Disassemble, clean, and store equipment after each test cycle.
  • 7Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials and finished products.
  • 8Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Requirements7

  • 11+ years of hands-on mechanical experience in a chemical or industrial setting.
  • 2Strong mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting skills.
  • 3Ability to read technical documents, diagrams, and safety information.
  • 4Experience with hand tools, material handling equipment, and shop math.
  • 5Forklift certification or experience preferred.
  • 6Comfort working with heat, steam, and industrial processing equipment.
  • 7High school diploma or equivalent.
