You will own safety product sales expansion across the Los Angeles region, driving $10M+ in revenue growth. You'll partner with contractors, engineers, and suppliers to penetrate new markets and secure projects. Collaborating with field teams and marketing, you'll execute technical sales strategies that position White Cap as the trusted safety supplier. This role thrives on autonomy and strategic impact, with 50%+ travel to job sites and industry events.
What You'll Do10
- 1Drive safety product sales and profitability within the region, targeting MEP, Waterproofing, and Geotextiles accounts.
- 2Penetrate new markets by identifying private and public project opportunities and building a robust pipeline.
- 3Build relationships with contractors, suppliers, and engineers through in-person visits, presentations, and industry association participation.
- 4Collaborate with field teams to ensure the right inventory and supplier programs are in place for safety products.
- 5Coordinate with marketing to create promotional collateral for conferences, trade shows, and webinars.
- 6Work with the Regional Trade Manager to develop annual business plans and track progress on key projects.
- 7Establish partnerships with industry associations to strengthen White Cap's market position in safety.
- 8Consult with engineers to assist with project designs and specifications, ensuring OSHA compliance.
- 9Assist local sales teams with strategies to quote and win specified projects, including pricing and bidder analysis.
- 10Conduct in-person and video meetings to present the value proposition of safety products to diverse audiences.
Requirements8
- 110+ years of experience in a related field, with a bachelor's degree (or 8+ years with a master's).
- 25+ years of industry experience with detailed emphasis in safety products and services.
- 3Expert technical knowledge of safety products and their application in construction and industrial settings.
- 4Strong project management skills to lead complex strategic initiatives.
- 5Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and supply chain.
- 6Proven track record of driving sales growth and expanding market presence.
- 7Willingness to travel 50% or more for client meetings and industry events.
- 8Valid driver's license and ability to travel regionally as needed.
Salary Insight
