Overview
You will lead a sprint team as Technical Lead / Solution Architect, owning 10+ years of engineering expertise to drive cloud-native design and implementation. You will guide the team at AWS scale, translating high-level architecture into daily decisions. This long-term onsite contract in the DMV area focuses on hands-on code and leadership. You will integrate CI/CD pipelines and adopt AI-assisted tooling to boost delivery.
What You'll Do7
- 1Lead sprint team technical and design decisions, setting direction for cloud-native development on AWS.
- 2Translate architecture standards into team-level implementation choices, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals.
- 3Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment and testing with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline.
- 4Design and implement scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes.
- 5Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor developers on AWS services and cloud design patterns.
- 6Integrate AI-assisted developer tooling into the workflow, improving code quality and velocity.
- 7Debug and resolve complex production issues, optimizing performance and cost on AWS.
Requirements6
- 110+ years of software engineering experience, including a technical leadership role.
- 2Hands-on experience with modern cloud-native development on AWS, including Lambda, ECS, and S3.
- 3Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- 4Strong ability to translate architecture standards into team-level technical decisions.
- 5Experience leading sprint teams in an Agile environment, driving technical design.
- 6Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Tabnine.
