Technical Business Data Analyst, Data Integration
Overview
You own the full data ingestion lifecycle at Involgix, from source discovery to production delivery. You align Pega decisioning and SOI teams on unified data flows. You profile, evaluate, and integrate internal and external datasets. You turn ambiguous business asks into clear technical stories. This contract role in Irving, TX puts you at the center of enterprise data strategy.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead the sourcing and ingestion of new data feeds, owning end-to-end delivery with SQL and Pega.
- 2Collaborate with Agile teams to refine requirements into technical user stories for the SOI backlog.
- 3Design data mapping specs that adhere to governance standards and support Pega decisioning models.
- 4Profile and validate incoming data against business rules, documenting issues and resolutions.
- 5Partner with engineers to ensure integration pipelines meet SLAs for availability and accuracy.
- 6Drive the first 90 days: deliver 2+ new data sources into production and baseline quality metrics.
- 7Evangelize self-service data access, enabling analysts to query Snowflake and Databricks independently.
- 8Monitor data health with Data Quality dashboards and automate alerting for ingestion failures.
Requirements8
- 15+ years in technical data analysis, data integration, or related roles within Agile environments.
- 2Proven experience sourcing and integrating external data platforms or APIs into enterprise systems.
- 33+ years writing advanced SQL queries and troubleshooting data pipelines across ETL tools.
- 4Hands-on expertise with Pega decisioning or customer decision hub, including data feed design.
- 5Familiarity with Data Governance frameworks like Collibra or Alation to catalog metadata.
- 6Ability to write clear technical user stories and acceptance criteria for Agile sprints.
- 7Experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or Databricks for data profiling.
- 8Relevant certification such as Pega CSA or Pega CSSA is a plus.
