Overview
Design and maintain software applications across the Issuer Solutions portfolio. Work with cross-functional teams to define standards and improve software quality. Strengthen architecture consistency and adoption of AI-assisted engineering workflows.
What You'll Do11
- 1Define and evolve engineering standards for code quality, architecture patterns, CI/CD, and application security.
- 2Conduct solution architecture reviews, code reviews, and design consultations for Java Spring Boot .NET Angular Python teams.
- 3Create reusable patterns and reference implementations for independent team execution.
- 4Translate platform cloud security and AI center of excellence guidance into actionable engineering practices.
- 5Champion AI-assisted engineering workflows and measure impact on software quality and delivery throughput.
- 6Prototype solutions and build internal tools to accelerate delivery and resolve complex technical challenges.
- 7Identify systemic quality issues and implement solutions to improve defect escape rates and lead time.
- 8Deliver technical training and mentoring to strengthen architectural thinking and AI fluency.
- 9Lead CI/CD pipeline development using GitLab CI Jenkins and automated testing frameworks.
- 10Maintain Kubernetes OpenShift Docker AWS GCP containerized environments.
- 11Utilize relational and NoSQL databases in enterprise application contexts.
Requirements10
- 110+ years of software engineering experience designing and supporting enterprise applications.
- 28+ years experience with Java Spring Boot Microsoft Azure AWS or similar enterprise frameworks.
- 34+ years building CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI Jenkins and automated testing frameworks.
- 44+ years experience in cloud-native containerized environments using Kubernetes OpenShift Docker AWS Azure GCP.
- 54+ years experience with relational and NoSQL databases in enterprise settings.
- 6Experience adopting AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering outcomes.
- 7Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science software engineering IT or related field.
- 8Experience influencing engineering quality architecture direction without direct reporting authority.
- 9Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 JWT TLS secrets management and vulnerability remediation workflows.
- 10Experience in financial services or fintech environments.
