Overview
You are the first impression for every guest at CAVA, a Mediterranean fast-casual brand with 4,000 years of culinary heritage. Own the guest experience from greeting to order assembly, ensuring each visit is warm, personalized, and memorable. What You'll Do7
- 1Greet guests with genuine enthusiasm and guide them through the menu, customizing bowls, pitas, and salads to their tastes.
- 2Assemble orders accurately and quickly, following recipes and portion guidelines to maintain food quality and consistency.
- 3Keep the serving line, dining room, and restrooms clean and organized, restocking stations as needed.
- 4Adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures, handling food at proper temperatures and maintaining a spotless workspace.
- 5Deliver a unique and memorable experience by checking in with guests and anticipating their needs.
- 6Receive deliveries, put away stock, and assist with any additional duties to keep the restaurant running smoothly.
- 7Cross-train across multiple stations, including grill, prep, and cashier, to support team flexibility and rapid growth.
Requirements9
- 11+ year in a fast-paced restaurant or customer service role preferred but not required.
- 2Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- 3Comfort working in temperatures ranging from hot to cold, and near open flames.
- 4Dexterity to handle tongs, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
- 5Must be able to bend, reach overhead, sit, squat, and kneel occasionally.
- 6Strong verbal communication skills to interact with guests and team members constantly.
- 7Vision abilities include close, distance, and peripheral vision.
- 8Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- 9Willingness to work in tight spaces and occasionally outdoors in weather conditions.
