Task Associate, Retail Operations & Merchandising
Overview
As a Task Associate at Ulta Beauty, you will keep the store running by stocking shelves, maintaining cleanliness, and executing operational tasks that drive sales. You will support the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager across store processes, using Apple devices and the Point of Sale system. This role thrives on precision and consistency, with each shift contributing to the guest experience.
What You'll Do8
- 1Stock fixtures with merchandise to ensure product availability for guests.
- 2Execute shipment and replenishment processes, merchandise sets, and inventory counts using POS and Apple devices.
- 3Complete merchandise resets, planograms, and marketing displays as directed.
- 4Maintain store cleanliness across sales floor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
- 5Ensure testers are available and assigned areas are replenished, signed, and faced.
- 6Follow loss prevention best practices to protect company assets.
- 7Attend ongoing training, including brand and category education, to support sales performance.
- 8Adhere to all Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and dress code.
Requirements8
- 11+ year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2High school diploma preferred.
- 3Proficiency with basic technology, including Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
- 4Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 5Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced retail environment.
- 6Flexible schedule for early morning, evening, weekend, overnight, and holiday shifts.
- 7Continuous mobility, standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting during shifts.
- 8Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 25 lbs frequently.
