You will teach swim lessons to children and adults, starting at 3-months old, using the British Swim School aquatics program. You will report to the Aquatics Manager and support daily operations. What You'll Do8
- 1Teach swim lessons following British Swim School training and program standards.
- 2Report directly to the Aquatics Manager and support business owners.
- 3Maintain required certifications throughout employment.
- 4Work during pool hours, including Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
- 5Interact with swimmers, parents, and guardians to promote a safe learning environment.
- 6Manage a class schedule assigned by managers.
- 7Be in the water for the duration of each shift.
- 8Work in an environment with moderate to high noise levels.
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent, or currently completing it.
- 2Enthusiastic personality.
- 3Comfortable in and around water.
- 4Strong swimming skills preferred but can be developed.
- 5Completion of all required British Swim School Aquatics training and testing.
- 6Maintain certifications throughout employment.
- 71-2 years swimming experience preferred.
- 81 year customer service skills preferred.
- 9Lifeguarding/CPR/AED certification preferred but can be obtained during training.
