What You'll Do7
- 1Lead and supervise 1-2 person survey crew in active roadway construction zones
- 2Perform layout staking and grade verification for highways bridges and site infrastructure
- 3Operate robotic total stations GPS/GNSS systems and Trimble data collectors
- 4Interpret plans profiles and cross-sections calculate quantities and establish control
- 5Coordinate with project managers engineers and contractors to resolve field conflicts
- 6Maintain survey records field notes and as-built documentation
- 7Enforce safety protocols in live traffic and heavy equipment environments
Requirements5
- 15+ years of survey experience with at least 2 years in a lead or chief role
- 2Proficiency with total stations GPS and construction staking methods
- 3Strong math skills and working knowledge of coordinate geometry traverse computations
- 4Experience with DOT specifications and roadway construction workflows
- 5Valid driver`s license ability to work outdoors and travel to project sites
