What You'll Do8

  • 1Lead daily field crew operations, planning the efficient approach for data collection.
  • 2Perform boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS Land Title, and construction surveys using GPS and robotic total stations.
  • 3Complete construction staking, building layout, form surveys, and final surveys.
  • 4Collect accurate survey data with GPS, robotic total stations, and data collectors, verifying measurements.
  • 5Communicate daily with the Survey Field Manager on schedules, progress, and updates.
  • 6Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and survey instruments.
  • 7Build positive relationships with clients, contractors, landowners, and coworkers.
  • 8Promote a safe and productive work environment on every project.

Requirements9

  • 12+ years progressive land surveying experience.
  • 2Previous experience as a Survey Crew Chief or Party Chief.
  • 3Strong knowledge of boundary surveying and Land Title (ALTA/NSPS) surveys.
  • 4Ability to independently calculate and retrace property boundaries.
  • 5Experience with boundary, topographic, construction staking, commercial, building layout, and final surveys.
  • 6Proficiency with robotic total stations, GPS survey equipment, and data collectors.
  • 7Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • 8Valid Texas driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • 9High School Diploma or GED.
