Supply Planning Manager, Data Center GPU
Overview
Lead supply planning for AMD's Data Center GPU business, owning short-, mid-, and long-term supply plans that enable product ramps and customer commitments. Manage a team of planners, partnering with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Procurement to align demand, capacity, and materials. Use SAP, Kinaxis Rapid Response, and dashboards to drive decisions and improve planning discipline. This role offers direct impact on revenue attainment and inventory health in a high-growth, high-visibility segment.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supply Planners supporting Data Center GPU programs.
- 2Own supply planning execution across short-, mid-, and long-term horizons to hit revenue, customer commitments, and ramp milestones.
- 3Partner with Business Units, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, and suppliers to align demand, supply, capacity, materials, and priorities.
- 4Identify supply risks and drive mitigation plans, escalating trade-offs with clear business impact.
- 5Manage supply planning KPIs including on-time delivery, revenue support, inventory health, excess and obsolete exposure, and supply commit accuracy.
- 6Lead cross-functional issue resolution for shortages, capacity constraints, material readiness, parameter gaps, and execution blockers.
- 7Drive process, system, and tool improvements to scale planning capability across complex BOMs and multi-site supply networks.
- 8Champion continuous improvement and standard work to boost productivity, transparency, and planning discipline.
Requirements8
- 15+ years in supply chain, supply planning, operations, or manufacturing.
- 2Proven ability to lead teams and develop planners.
- 3Strong understanding of SAP and Kinaxis Rapid Response or similar planning tools.
- 4Experience with product ramps, capacity allocation, and constrained supply environments.
- 5Track record of improving planning processes and automation.
- 6Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 7Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- 8Experience escalating to executive levels.
