Supply Chain Director, Food & Restaurant Operations & Leadership
Overview
Own end-to-end supply chain in a fast growing food and restaurant business with multi-site operations. Lead a team, oversee procurement, logistics, forecasting, and supplier relationships to drive cost efficiency and service excellence. Work with executive leadership to shape strategic initiatives, contracts, and performance with a hands-on, cross-functional approach. This role offers visibility to the C-suite and a chance to scale the supply chain as the business expands.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build end-to-end supply chain, logistics, distribution, and procurement operations to ensure product availability and cost efficiency across the network
- 2Manage strategic relationships with distributors, manufacturers, suppliers, and partners to drive performance and continuous improvement
- 3Develop and execute sourcing strategies, vendor agreements, and procurement programs that support growth and mitigate risk
- 4Oversee forecasting, inventory management, contract renewals, pricing negotiations, and issue resolution across multiple DCs and product categories
- 5Monitor KPIs, service levels, invoice accuracy, rebate programs, and inventory health to improve operational performance
- 6Ensure supply chain execution for new restaurant openings, menu launches, and limited-time offerings from sourcing to rollout
- 7Lead supplier selection, strategic sourcing initiatives, and commodity market analysis
- 8Maintain supplier standards related to food safety, quality, sustainability, ethical sourcing, and regulatory compliance
- 9Provide financial leadership through budgeting, cost management, price impact analysis, and identification of savings opportunities
- 10Direct the function by developing team strategy, mentoring leaders, and communicating risks and opportunities to executives and the board
Requirements5
- 110+ years experience in Supply Chain management
- 25+ years Leadership in the Restaurant/Food space
- 3Bachelor's degree ideally in an analytical subject
- 4Strong process improvement & cost saving accomplishments
- 5Experience managing teams of direct reports
