Supply Chain Analyst, Amazon Marketplace & Inventory
Overview
You will own purchasing and inventory for Amazon and Walmart clients, managing 5-10 active brands and $1M+ in annual revenue. You'll join a team of 20+ supply chain specialists and operations managers in a hybrid work model, reporting directly to the Director of Supply Chain. This role offers direct exposure to Amazon FBA workflows and a clear path to senior analyst within 2 years.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build purchase orders and replenishment plans for Amazon FBA and Walmart accounts, cutting stockouts by 20% in the first quarter.
- 2Forecast demand from sales data and adjust order cycles to hit cash flow targets for each client.
- 3Resolve delivery and quality issues by coordinating with warehouses and managers, reducing dispute resolutions by 30%.
- 4Drive vendor negotiations to lower landed costs by 5% while maintaining quality standards.
- 5Track inventory accuracy to 98% using Excel and Google Sheets dashboards.
- 6Share weekly performance reports with clients, highlighting sell-through and margin trends.
- 7Run ad-hoc supply chain analyses to support Amazon and Walmart growth strategies.
- 8Optimize storage and fulfillment by recommending changes to FBA shipment plans based on demand spikes.
Requirements6
- 12+ years in supply chain, logistics, or related roles.
- 21+ years using Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
- 3Familiarity with Amazon FBA or similar fulfillment environments.
- 4Strong analytical skills for cash flow and profitability management.
- 5Clear communication and negotiation skills for vendor and client interactions.
- 6Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, or equivalent work experience.
