Supplier Quality Manager, Customer Satisfaction
Overview
You will own the supplier quality program for Schneider Electric's Dallas operations, directly linking supplier performance to customer satisfaction metrics. What You'll Do10
- 1Develop and manage the Supplier Quality Program, establishing requirements and performance expectations for all suppliers.
- 2Lead supplier qualification, onboarding, and approval processes, including audits and assessments using ISO 9001 standards.
- 3Monitor supplier performance through scorecards and KPI reviews, driving improvements in PPM and on-time delivery.
- 4Lead Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs), facilitating root cause investigations with 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone.
- 5Drive supplier development initiatives and quarterly business reviews, focusing on quality and delivery improvements.
- 6Support incoming quality controls and risk mitigation activities, reducing defects and customer complaints.
- 7Execute annual supplier audit plans based on risk, spend, and criticality, documenting findings and issuing corrective actions.
- 8Verify corrective action effectiveness through follow-up audits, maintaining audit records and compliance documentation.
- 9Partner with Procurement and Operations to support strategic supplier development and risk mitigation efforts.
- 10Report supplier audit results and trends to leadership via scorecards, highlighting risks and improvement opportunities.
Requirements8
- 15+ years in supplier quality, manufacturing, procurement, or operations.
- 2Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, or related field.
- 3Experience managing supplier audits, corrective actions, and quality programs.
- 4Strong analytical, leadership, and project management skills.
- 5Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- 6ASQ CQE or CMQ/OE certification.
- 7Experience with PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, and Control Plans.
- 8Experience in prefab, electrical equipment, industrial manufacturing, or construction-related industries.
