Supplier Industrialization Engineer - Metallic Components
Overview
Lead precision casting review and quote approval workflow overseeing global supplier network. Own program end to end from sample development through stable production while ensuring compliance with technical specifications and material requirements.
What You'll Do11
- 1Review fresh prints for precision casting tolerances materials and revisions before green-lighting quotes with overseas partners
- 2Conduct video validation sessions with Asian machine shops verifying process controls and aligning inspection plans
- 3Wrap customer kickoff capture factory requests for deviation and brief COO on schedule risks with action plan
- 4Analyze RFQs/quotes for technical accuracy field supplier questions during quoting process
- 5Oversee daily supplier performance and collaborate with Sourcing to align capabilities with program needs
- 6Travel internationally for factory tours audits and technical discussions with supplier teams
- 7Provide routine status updates to internal/external stakeholders escalating at-risk timelines directly to CEO and COO
- 8Lead project kickoffs with customers and vendors establishing clear expectations and deliverables
- 9Surface technical updates deviations and factory inquiries to Sales for customer action
- 10Coordinate PPAP APQP 8D corrective actions GD&T and print interpretation across cross-functional initiatives
- 11Maintain strong Hindi language proficiency as a competitive advantage
Requirements6
- 1Deep hands-on familiarity with castings forgings cold headed parts and machined components understanding failure modes
- 2Experience in supplier quality sourcing program launch or manufacturing engineering with significant vendor engagement
- 3Fluency in PPAP APQP 8D corrective actions GD&T and blueprint reading
- 4Sharp project management coordinating cross-functional work meeting deadlines and communicating clearly
- 5Comfort with direct customer interaction and international supplier collaboration
- 6Will to travel internationally for audits and on-site reviews
