Overview
PANTHERx seeks a dedicated Supervisor, Patient Access professional to drive excellence in managing specialty medication enrollment and billing. This role leads staff and ensures accurate processing of claims while fostering a collaborative environment focused on patient outcomes.
What You'll Do9
- 1Train staff on enrollment processes and account verification
- 2Teach coverage validation and claim management
- 3Communicate with Insurance Resolution Specialist for proper billing
- 4Assist in hiring and training new hires
- 5Lead staff training on new therapies and updates
- 6Open cross-department communication for patient and payor satisfaction
- 7Identify negative margins at drug/patient/payor levels
- 8Attend and occasionally lead staff meetings
- 9Support management initiatives and project assignments
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or GED
- 2Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 3Basic understanding of AR business principles
- 4Ability to prioritize tasks aligned with company goals
- 5Proficiency with EDS billing systems, Excel and Word
- 6Minimum 6 years experience in medical/prescription insurance authorization
- 7Licensure as applicable
- 8Experience in healthcare, especially mail order or specialty pharmacy
- 9CPR+ certification preferred
