Overview
Own day-to-day supervision of inspectors and client activities across the Dallas region, ensuring ASME code compliance and NB certification standards. Lead a team of Authorized Inspectors and coordinate with engineering and sales to drive service excellence. Support corporate initiatives and develop staff while working remotely with flexible scheduling. This role combines technical oversight with leadership, offering direct impact on USIG service quality and client satisfaction. You will bridge field operations and corporate strategy, ensuring every inspection meets ASME and NB requirements.
What You'll Do8
- 1Supervise assigned inspectors and client activities, ensuring ASME code compliance in all inspections and documentation.
- 2Provide ASME/NB technical support to staff and clients, resolving complex inspection issues and interpreting code requirements.
- 3Drive sales and marketing initiatives by engaging with clients and identifying growth opportunities for USIG services.
- 4Develop inspection staff through coaching, training, and performance feedback to elevate team competency.
- 5Implement corporate technical and administrative initiatives, aligning local operations with Munich Re standards.
- 6Audit inspection reports and procedures to verify accuracy and adherence to ASME and NB requirements.
- 7Coordinate with engineering teams to address non-conformances and ensure timely resolution.
- 8Manage documentation for NB commission renewals and endorsements, tracking inspector certifications.
Requirements8
- 14-6 years as a commissioned Authorized Inspector with extensive nuclear or non-nuclear exposure.
- 2High school diploma required; BS in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred.
- 32 years experience as an AI or ANI to obtain NB Commission with 'B' and/or 'NS' endorsement.
- 4Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and data management.
- 5Strong planning and organizational skills to manage multiple inspection projects.
- 6Self-motivated with the ability to work without direct supervision in a remote environment.
- 7Effective verbal and written communication for client and team interactions.
- 8Problem-solving skills to address technical and operational challenges.
