What You'll Do11
- 1Support MRI Technologists and Radiologists to promote patient safety and efficient workflows
- 2Comply with HIPAA guidelines and safety protocols in clinical settings
- 3Assist with coil positioning and MRI safety screening
- 4Collect and document patient medical histories in the EMR
- 5Maintain a clean and safe MRI control room
- 6Greet patients and answer questions during the MRI process
- 7Administer oral contrast under technologist direction
- 8Support technologists with coil setup and suite cleanup
- 9Screen patients and verify exam documentation
- 10Collaborate with the MRI Steering Technologist and site leadership
- 11Communicate delays to the front desk and team
Requirements6
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Completion of an approved MRI Technologist Assistant program
- 3Valid Basic Life Support certification
- 4At least one year of healthcare experience
- 5Strong computer and time management skills
- 6Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant designation preferred
Salary Insight
$42 - $50k per year
