What You'll Do11
- 1Serve as primary point of contact for students navigating personal academic emotional financial or relational challenges
- 2Develop holistic data-informed Care Plans connecting students with campus and community resources
- 3Coordinate care with partners across Student Care Academic Affairs Residential Life Student Conduct Title IX Educational Access Center and other support offices
- 4Triage student concerns provide advocacy and mentoring facilitate referrals ensure follow-up and maintain thorough documentation
- 5Support wellbeing initiatives through case management crisis response and proactive outreach
- 6Build relationships with community providers to expand support options
- 7Assist with Bounce Back STS 2090-1 via Canvas grading course facilitation and student engagement
- 8Contribute to division-wide projects strengthening PLNU's commitment to student thriving
- 9Maintain confidentiality while applying judgment and decision-making skills
- 10Demonstrate adaptability initiative and crisis response effectiveness
- 11Communicate clearly both written oral and interpersonal
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading teams or managing projects
- 35+ years experience with Python and AWS
- 4Bachelor’s degree in social work counseling psychology or related field
- 5Master’s degree in psychology social work counseling or related field preferred
- 6Commitment to inclusive diverse practices recognizing intersectionality
- 7Advising coaching or advocacy experience in higher education
- 8Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- 91-3 years professional experience in higher education social work or related field
- 10Evidence of Christian commitment active church involvement
- 11Staff agreement to live in accordance with PLNU’s Community Life Covenant
