What You'll Do9
- 1Facilitate class instruction for graduate-level courses according to department standards
- 2Develop deliver and review course materials and syllabi
- 3Evaluate student performance and provide substantive feedback
- 4Utilize Canvas platform for assignments grading and course structure
- 5Promote student learning through relational teaching practices meeting at least once weekly
- 6Input final grades in Workday
- 7Provide accommodations per PLNU Educational Access Center
- 8Attend department events and meetings
- 9Report weekly hours worked in Workday
Requirements9
- 1Ph.D. Psy.D. DMFT Ed.D. preferred MA/MS with specialized experience
- 2Advanced degree in psychology or related field
- 3Licensure and relevant clinical experience for MFT or LPC licensure
- 4Minimum one year higher education teaching experience preferred
- 5Online teaching experience preferred
- 6Knowledge of instructional strategies for graduate-level teaching
- 7Ability to learn Canvas Workday systems
- 8Professional interaction skills with students educators and public
- 9Commitment to Christian liberal arts education and PLNU values
