What You'll Do9
- 1Teach a variety of courses within the traditional undergraduate program and related general education classes
- 2Apply instructional strategies suitable for undergraduate learners including classroom management motivation and evaluation
- 3Develop syllabi and deliver illustrated lectures
- 4Collaborate strategically with colleagues students parents and community members
- 5Engage in scholarly research and mentor students academically spiritually and socially
- 6Advise students and serve on departmental committees
- 7Contribute to student preparation for postgraduate careers
- 8Participate in university faculty activities and governance
- 9Support the Christian liberal arts mission through teaching and scholarship
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor of Science in Nursing required with Master of Science in Nursing preferred
- 2Proven commitment to excellence in teaching diverse undergraduate populations
- 3Demonstrated experience in both undergraduate and graduate instruction
- 4Thorough alignment with PLNU’s Christian liberal arts philosophy and denominational values
- 5Active Christian faith and commitment evidenced by church involvement
- 6Ability to live according to PLNU’s Community Life Covenant
- 7Background check clearance required for employment
