What You'll Do7

- 3Mentor and advise students on academic and career goals, fostering their professional development in Accounting and Finance.
- 4Incorporate relevant research and professional experience into course content to bridge theory and practice.
- 5Participate in institution activities, such as faculty meetings, curriculum reviews, and academic committees, as appropriate.
- 6Involve students in research or professional experiences, such as case competitions, internships, or applied projects.
- 7Utilize the university's online course management system to post syllabi, grades, and resources, and communicate with students effectively.
Requirements8
- 1Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- 25+ years of related work experience in Accounting or Finance.
- 3Commitment to teaching excellence, demonstrated through prior teaching or training roles.
- 4One year of teaching experience in higher education, preferred.
- 5Thorough commitment to Christian liberal arts education and alignment with the university's religious and educational mission.
- 6Evidence of Christian commitment and active church involvement, and agreement to abide by PLNU's Community Life Covenant.
- 7Ability to successfully interact with students, faculty, and staff in a professional manner.
- 8Willingness to complete a background check as a condition of employment.
