Structured Finance Associate - Bloom Energy
Overview
Join Bloom Energy as a Structured Finance Associate to lead capital intensive energy deployments. This role owns the full transaction lifecycle from model build to close while collaborating across functions. You will develop pricing and structuring analyses that inform commercial strategy and manage investor engagements. This position offers direct reporting to VP-Structured Finance and on-site work in San Jose CA.
What You'll Do11
- 1Build and own complex project and portfolio level models including sensitivities and scenario analysis
- 2Evaluate returns cash flows and capital structure trade offs across debt tax equity sponsor equity and customer economics
- 3Execute across full transaction lifecycle including early negotiations structuring diligence and capital raising
- 4Create critical deal collateral such as sensitivity packages diligence materials and executive summaries
- 5Own process rigor by managing closing checklists diligence logs and timelines
- 6Develop investor facing collateral and support negotiations with investors lenders and customers
- 7Collaborate with Sales Legal Accounting Treasury Engineering Manufacturing and Operations on strategic projects
- 8Scout new markets financing structures and investor requirements
- 9Gain exposure to mission critical deployments across data centers healthcare manufacturing and other critical infrastructure
- 10Expand ownership across deal phases as performance demonstrates judgment speed and attention to detail
- 11Rotate across responsibilities within Structured Finance and explore adjacent opportunities
Requirements5
- 12–5 years experience in project finance structured finance investment banking private equity renewable energy finance or other infrastructure finance
- 2Strong academic credentials from a top tier college or university
- 3Demonstrated experience building and maintaining complex financial models used in live transactions
- 4Exceptional analytical horsepower to solve open-ended problems lacking clear answers
- 5Ability to run multiple workstreams hit deadlines and deliver high quality output in fast moving environment
