FP&A Manager - Bloom Energy
Overview
Bloom Energy seeks a finance partner to drive planning forecasting and reporting for a defined scope of P&L. This evergreen role builds a pipeline for FP&A openings across Finance. The ideal candidate owns financial outcomes influences cross‑functional partners and delivers actionable insights.
What You'll Do8
- 1Own the financial planning forecasting and reporting cycles for a defined scope including the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts
- 2Serve as a primary finance partner translating operational decisions into financial outcomes
- 3Build and maintain financial models supporting scenario analysis and long‑range planning
- 4Deliver standard analytics and operating mechanisms such as monthly operating reviews and quarterly business reviews
- 5Partner with the Controller on close accruals and SOX compliance to ensure data integrity
- 6Identify and lead process improvement projects to standardize simplify and automate workflows
- 7Lead or mentor junior FP&A analysts strengthening analytical rigor and operating cadence
- 8Support special projects and ad‑hoc analyses for senior leadership
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree in finance accounting economics business engineering or related field
- 2Minimum six years of progressive finance experience including direct FP&A corporate finance or investment banking
- 3Strong financial modeling skills and knowledge of public‑company reporting concepts
- 4Proven ability to manage forecasting cycles variance analysis and management reporting
- 5Experience with enterprise systems and BI tools such as SAP Oracle Anaplan Hyperion Power BI Tableau
- 6Excellent written and verbal communication translating finance for non‑finance audiences
- 7Attention to detail managing multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- 8Preferred experience in energy power generation capital equipment electric vehicles semiconductors or similar hardware businesses
- 9Familiarity with public‑company earnings cycles and external reporting cadence
- 10MBA CPA CFA or CMA preferred
