What You'll Do6

  • 1Perform structural analysis on launch vehicle and ground support components using FEA tools.
  • 2Analyze damage scenarios on missile structures and propose remediation.
  • 3Develop finite element models for dynamic and static load cases in ANSYS.
  • 4Collaborate with design teams to validate structural integrity of new components.
  • 5Document analysis results and present findings to engineering leadership.
  • 6Support test planning and correlate analytical results with physical test data.

Requirements6

  • 15+ years of structural analysis experience in aerospace or defense.
  • 2Proficiency with ANSYS or Nastran for finite element analysis.
  • 3Experience with launch vehicle or missile structural design and analysis.
  • 4Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • 5Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
  • 6Strong understanding of MIL-STD and aerospace material properties.
