Overview
The PG&E Building Electrification and Efficiency Programs (BEEP) group leads energy efficiency initiatives shaping policy and regulatory environments. This analyst role supports development of regulatory reports and forecasts while improving data quality and process efficiency. What You'll Do11
- 1Support process strategy and policy development on data-related EE issues
- 2Prepare staging tables and regulatory reports using Oracle SQL architecture
- 3Represent PG&E EE in external engagements like CPUC and CEC workshops
- 4Deliver briefs and presentations on EE policy and compliance matters
- 5Advance strategic positions by engaging key stakeholders
- 6Collaborate with cross-functional teams on CPUC and legislative directives
- 7Provide EE policy information and data direction to internal teams
- 8Assist with PG&E filings in EE proceedings and regulatory compliance efforts
- 9Maintain and enhance large complex data sets through query development
- 10Analyze customer and energy usage data to assess program impacts
- 11Identify performance metrics and make data-driven business decisions
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Economics Statistics Mathematics Business Finance Policy Sociology Engineering Physics or related field
- 22 years of relevant job-related experience
- 3Experience with energy efficiency or demand side management programs
- 4Proficiency in SQL R Python PowerBI or similar data manipulation tools
- 5Strong analytical skills and ability to learn new concepts quickly
- 6Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- 7Detail-oriented with curiosity and creativity to solve challenges
- 8Project management experience and ability to work collaboratively across departments
