Business Analyst - PG&E Corporation
Overview
The Business Analyst will conduct research analyze data support budgeting forecasting and prepare reporting that informs business decisions strategy and operations. You will contribute to business process improvement quality control and operational initiatives while supporting performance assessment process re-engineering change management communications and training. This hybrid role requires remote work and weekly attendance in Oakland. Additional on-site days may be required based on business needs.
What You'll Do11
- 1Analyze complex data models and develop customized reports dashboards and insights to support business needs
- 2Manage small to mid-size projects ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule
- 3Develop track interpret metrics to identify trends and recommendations related to business strategy and operations
- 4Present findings insights and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders
- 5Support studies and analyses related to Technology & Security operations resource allocation financial reviews and program performance
- 6Evaluate programs and work plans to help ensure goals timelines and business objectives remain on track
- 7Assist with preparation of annual business plans for assigned Technology & Security functional areas
- 8Coordinate contract and resource management efforts and provide recommendations based on analysis
- 9Maintain annual capital and expense budgets using appropriate accounting and budgeting controls
- 10Enter financial data into tracking systems and prepare regular and ad hoc financial status reports
- 11Support additional activities as needed including operations and maintenance support application testing and scope presentations
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading cross-functional teams
- 35+ years designing scalable data architectures
- 4Proficiency with Power BI or similar reporting and visualization software
- 5Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a job-related discipline or equivalent work experience
- 6Strong organizational multitasking and prioritization skills
- 7Experience conducting business analysis research and problem solving
- 8Knowledge of analytical methods approaches and tactics
- 9Ability to adapt to changing business conditions and ambiguity
- 10Qualifications include strong presentation and communication skills
Salary Insight
$82 - $124k per year
