- 1Learn Walgreens operations and lead one-box store management
- 2Complete accelerated development program for Store Manager role
- 3Shadow Store Manager and support store operations
- 4Train and develop through rigorous classroom and on-the-job programs
- 5Follow individual development plans with District Manager
- 6Implement SOPs across front-end and pharmacy
- 7Gain knowledge of all computer and technology systems
- 8Obtain pharmacy technician registration/licensure and pursue PTCB certification
- 9Engage customers and resolve complaints promptly
- 10Supervise store operations including shift management and task delegation
- 11Maintain security and protect assets via surveillance systems
- 12Analyze inventory trends and manage receiving pricing returns
- 13Supervise receiving sticking pricing returning and transfers
- 14Ensure compliance with laws regarding alcohol tobacco and food sales
- 15Provide team safety and well-being through Security Operations Center
- 16Analyze financial data and develop business improvement plans
- 17Identify sales opportunities and develop action plans
- 18Review asset protection data and develop loss reduction strategies
- 19Plan and execute community events with Store Manager
- 20Manage performance metrics and prepare improvement discussions
- 21Understand people management including HR systems and performance reviews
- 22Communicate with Store Manager and District Manager regularly
- 23Assist with team development and problem solving
- 24Facilitate team discussions on operational metrics
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma with 3 years retail management experience
- 2Fluent English reading writing speaking except Puerto Rico
- 3Willingness to work flexible schedule including weekends
- 4Preference for PTCB Certification
- 5Managerial experience with people leadership and business management
- 6Ability to accept Store Manager assignment
- 7Transferable to other Walgreens locations in hiring area
- 8Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and retail manager experience
- 9Arrest and conviction records acceptable
