Store Manager New York City Flagship
Overview
The person who defines the store culture and owns the P&L. This is an ownership role where you set standards and shape the team. You will build a high performing inclusive culture and lead from the floor.
What You'll Do11
- 1Own the store floor experience and ensure it meets the brand's aesthetic at all times
- 2Lead a team that consistently exceeds performance expectations and develops future leaders
- 3Manage commercial metrics such as conversion rate uptime and average transaction value
- 4Execute operational excellence including scheduling labor inventory and loss prevention
- 5Drive visual merchandising that aligns with the brand's premium positioning
- 6Partner with district leadership to set and achieve store targets
- 7Recruit onboard and coach staff to become ambassadors of the brand
- 8Maintain strict financial accountability for the store's bottom line
- 9Develop selling culture that tracks celebrates and coaches individual performance
- 10Ensure seamless integration between the sales floor and back‑of‑house operations
- 11Represent the brand authentically while fostering a culture where employees thrive
Requirements10
- 15+ years retail experience with at least 2 years as a Store Manager or General Manager
- 2Proven record of building and developing high performing retail teams
- 3Deep commercial literacy with conversion rate uptime ATV and AUR metrics
- 4Experience in contemporary premium or luxury fashion retail environments
- 5Full operational fluency including P&L management scheduling and loss prevention
- 6Familiarity with Shopify POS and ability to master new systems quickly
- 7Complete flexibility for weekend evenings and key trading periods
- 8Visible genuine passion for fashion and the in‑store customer experience
- 9Ability to set expectations clearly and lead with consistent decisive action
- 10Strong communication skills to recruit diverse talent and nurture them into leaders
