Overview
You will lead all facets of bookstore operations at the Keiser Clearwater campus, owning hiring, training, and performance management for full-time, part-time, and temporary staff. You will drive operating plans for rush periods and special events, and manage course materials to maximize profit. You will partner with campus administration and athletics to strengthen Follett's presence. What You'll Do10
- 1Own full-cycle talent management: recruit, train, coach, and develop staff, identifying key talent for the pipeline.
- 2Build cross-functional teams of engaged associates to execute initiatives and drive operational standards.
- 3Prepare and implement detailed operating plans for all store departments, including rush and special events.
- 4Analyze store financials to positively impact sales and expense opportunities, planning promotions.
- 5Establish and enhance relationships with campus community, including administration and athletics, to resolve complex issues.
- 6Manage course materials: direct the Course Materials Manager, review enrollment and inventory, and secure adoptions in advance.
- 7Develop a customer-centric experience, engaging team members in delivery and execution.
- 8Execute corporate General Merchandise objectives, allocating floor space based on sales data.
- 9Oversee back-office functions: invoice preparation, chargebacks, and stock shipments per company policy.
- 10May oversee one or more additional locations with varying levels of direct management.
Requirements7
- 10-3 years of relevant retail management or strong customer service experience
- 2Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- 4Strong customer service, communication, and presentation skills
- 5Strong analytical skills and financial acumen
- 6Advanced relationship building, demonstrated ability to influence a team and customer outreach
