Stock Manager, Retail Inventory & Merchandising
Overview
You will drive merchandising and operational execution for a Michaels store, owning truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. You'll lead the team to ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready store environment. This role reports to the Store Manager and partners with store leadership on workload planning and daily priorities. You'll be the go-to person for operational excellence, making sure the store runs smoothly and stock is always ready.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead truck execution processes, ensuring timely unloading, accurate sorting, and efficient flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
- 2Own workload planning and daily task prioritization, partnering with store leadership to align staffing and execution.
- 3Execute and maintain SISO routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
- 4Oversee Planogram sets, ensuring merchandising sets are completed accurately and on schedule.
- 5Establish visual merchandising standards, including product placement and presentation.
- 6Manage inventory control, ensuring product accuracy and efficient stock movement.
- 7Execute ad sets and complete price changes accurately and on time.
- 8Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped correctly.
- 9Process RTVs and ASN receiving, ensuring compliance and proper inventory adjustments.
- 10Manage store damages procedures, focusing on shrink reduction.
Requirements8
- 13+ years retail leadership experience.
- 2Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
- 3Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise and fixtures up to 25-50 pounds with or without accommodation.
- 4Ability to climb ladders or step stools to stock and retrieve products.
- 5Ability to perform repetitive motions, including scanning items, stocking shelves, and operating POS equipment.
- 6Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
- 7Experience with ASN receiving and RTV processes.
- 8Proven ability to train and coach team members.
