Stock and Cleaning Associate, Retail Operations
Overview
You will own the daily cleanliness and inventory flow at our Houston retail store, ensuring a spotless floor and stocked shelves. You'll handle cleaning, stocking, and shipping prep, working alongside a small team to keep the space shopper-ready. This role suits someone who takes pride in physical, detail-driven work and enjoys a hands-on environment.
What You'll Do9
- 1Sweep, mop, and remove trash daily to maintain a clean sales floor and stock area.
- 2Sanitize bathroom facilities, restocking supplies as needed.
- 3Receive inventory by unloading shipping containers and moving merchandise to the floor.
- 4Stock shelves and organize displays, verifying that all labels are clear and legible.
- 5Mark new inventory with SKU codes using the inventory system.
- 6Pack and prepare merchandise for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
- 7Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any damage or low stock.
- 8Assist with store opening or closing tasks, including locking up and securing the premises.
- 9Support team members by handling extra cleaning or stocking tasks during peak hours.
Requirements8
- 11+ years in retail, cleaning, or warehouse environments.
- 2Ability to lift 30 lbs to shoulder height unassisted.
- 3Basic computer skills for inventory logging and label printing.
- 4Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- 5Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- 6Comfortable working on your feet for 8-hour shifts.
- 7High school diploma or equivalent.
- 8Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
