What You'll Do8
- 1Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment.
- 2Operate dishwashing machinery and other kitchen cleaning tools to maintain hygiene.
- 3Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in designated storage areas.
- 4Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
- 5Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars.
- 6Sweep and wash floors, and clean trash cans to ensure a safe environment.
- 7Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
- 8Support food preparation functions during staffing shortages or peak periods.
Requirements4
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 2Previous stewarding experience required or equivalent training.
- 3Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, push, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, reach, stoop, and kneel.
- 4Willingness to work varied schedules, including holidays and weekends.
