Stage Manager PT Live Nation Gramercy NYC
Overview
You will own load-in, load-out, and stage operations for the Gramercy Theatre, coordinating with audio, lighting, and band crews at a 500-capacity venue. You will manage backline, cabling, and sound and light equipment, ensuring seamless band set changes and show flow. You will work 3-5 shows per week under the direction of the Stage Manager, handling guest lists, passes, and signage. This role offers hands-on exposure to pro audio systems, stage lighting, and video systems in a premier NYC music venue.
What You'll Do8
- 1Manage load-in and load-out of band and rental equipment for every show, coordinating with touring crews
- 2Lay cabling and assist audio and lighting crews with setups, teardowns, and spot operations
- 3Execute band set changes during shows, moving gear and staging items like risers and curtains
- 4Secure passes, prepare guest lists, and coordinate band catering trays
- 5Hang show banners, update marquees, and handle venue signage
- 6Maintain and repair sound, light, and stage equipment, including backline and supplies
- 7Keep stage areas safe, clean, and reset for next performance
- 8Assist with special events operations and stage trash removal
Requirements5
- 13+ years of tour and stage production experience
- 2Experience with stage lighting, pro audio systems, and basic video systems
- 3Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in moderate to loud noise
- 4Proficiency with Microsoft applications
- 5High School Diploma required, College Degree preferred
