You will own technical design wins for ADI's Consumer portfolio in the Bay Area, targeting $11B in FY25 revenue. You will serve as the systems expert, bridging customer needs with internal product roadmaps. You will collaborate with sales, product line managers, and design teams to shape solutions for power management, battery charging, and sensing applications. This role stands out for its direct influence on new product definitions and customer training.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Lead the technical engagement for Consumer accounts, mapping customer requirements to ADI's Power Management and Battery Management solutions.
  • 2Uncover growth opportunities in the discovery phase, influencing system partitioning and solution definitions with Sales and FAEs.
  • 3Build trusted relationships with customers and internal teams, serving as the go-to expert for Consumer architectures.
  • 4Drive prototype evaluations and debug boards at the system level, ensuring successful customer adoption.
  • 5Deliver training to customers and colleagues on ADI's solutions, covering Buck, Boost, and Buck-Boost regulators.
  • 6Feed customer insights back to product development teams, shaping roadmaps for next-generation power ICs.
  • 7Collaborate across regions to share best practices and technical knowledge, lifting the entire FAE team.
  • 8Support the sales strategy by providing technical depth during key opportunity reviews.

Requirements8

  • 1BSEE or equivalent degree.
  • 27-15 years in product, design, or field applications engineering, with a focus on Consumer electronics.
  • 3Deep technical knowledge in Power Management, Vital Signs Monitoring, Battery Management, and Processing/DSP.
  • 4Proven circuit design experience with Buck, Boost, Buck-Boost, and battery charger topologies.
  • 5Experience driving prototype evaluation, debugging, and testing on the bench.
  • 6Strong communication skills to distill complex technical concepts for varied audiences.
  • 7Ability to coach and mentor colleagues on design issues.
  • 8US Citizenship preferred due to export control requirements.
